Custom Dental Office Buildout Details
For a recent private residence, our team at Freeman Construction designed and built a fully custom sauna tailored to both the space and the lifestyle of the homeowner. From the start, the focus was on creating a clean, modern retreat that felt like a high-end spa while still fitting seamlessly into the home. We carefully selected heat-treated wood for durability and comfort, shaping every bench, wall panel, and detail in-house to ensure a precise, polished finish.
The sauna features a custom ventilation system to maintain consistent heat circulation and air quality, along with concealed LED lighting integrated into the ceiling and bench lines for a warm, relaxing atmosphere. The heater was positioned for optimal performance and efficiency, allowing the space to reach temperature quickly while maintaining even heat throughout. Every element, from the door hardware to the insulation behind the walls, was chosen to maximize longevity, safety, and performance.

The renovation and full furnishing of the Avana Plastic Surgery Center presented several unique challenges that required strategic planning, precise execution, and continuous coordination with medical professionals and regulatory teams. - Modern Dental Office Buildout & Layout Planning: Aria Dental was designed with a clean, modern layout that balances patient comfort with efficient clinical workflow. Treatment rooms, sterilization areas, and reception spaces were planned to meet dental code requirements while keeping the space open, organized, and easy to navigate.
- Custom Reception & Waiting Area Design: The front desk and waiting area were custom-built to create a welcoming first impression. Clean lines, durable finishes, and thoughtful lighting were used to keep the space professional without feeling cold or overly clinical.
- Dental-Grade Electrical & Plumbing Installation: All electrical and plumbing systems were installed to support dental chairs, imaging equipment, and specialized tools. Power, data, and water lines were positioned for reliability, future service access, and long-term performance.
- Efficient Lighting & Ceiling Integration: Bright, well-balanced lighting was installed throughout treatment and common areas to support dental procedures while maintaining a comfortable environment for patients. Ceiling systems were cleanly finished with integrated fixtures and proper access panels.
- Durable, Easy-to-Maintain Interior Finishes: Flooring, wall surfaces, and cabinetry were selected for durability, hygiene, and ease of maintenance. All materials meet commercial standards and are designed to hold up to daily cleaning and heavy use.
- Sound Control & Patient Comfort Features: Sound-dampening materials and layout considerations were used to reduce noise between operatories and common areas, helping create a calmer experience for both patients and staff.
- Code Compliance & Final Detail Execution: The project was completed in full compliance with local building, health, and ADA requirements. From clean transitions to tight finishes, every detail was handled to deliver a polished, functional dental office ready for day-one operations.
