For the Care4Hair hair care shop, Freeman Construction completed a fully customized buildout designed to enhance both the client experience and daily operations. From the start, the goal was to create a clean, modern space that feels welcoming, stylish, and aligned with the Care4Hair brand.
The interior features carefully selected finishes, custom millwork, and durable materials built to handle high foot traffic while maintaining a polished look. Lighting was designed to provide clear visibility for hair treatments and styling services while keeping a warm and comfortable atmosphere for clients. Electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems were seamlessly integrated to support professional equipment and ensure consistent comfort throughout the shop.
The layout was thoughtfully planned to improve workflow, allowing stylists and staff to move efficiently while keeping the space organized and client focused. Each area, from reception to service stations, was designed with both aesthetics and functionality in mind.
This Care4Hair project reflects the craftsmanship and attention to detail Freeman Construction brings to retail and personal care buildouts. By managing the project from construction through final finishes, our team delivered a turnkey hair care shop that is visually refined, highly functional, and built for long term use.

The renovation and full buildout of the Care4Hair hair care shop presented several unique challenges that required careful planning, precise execution, and close coordination with the business owners and design team. These factors guided our approach and ensured the finished space met high standards of functionality, comfort, and visual appeal:
- Premium Materials & Durable Finishes: The Care4Hair shop was built using high quality, easy to clean materials designed to handle daily foot traffic while maintaining a clean, professional appearance. Floors, walls, and service surfaces were selected for durability, hygiene, and long term visual appeal.
- Custom Styling Stations & Efficient Layout: Styling stations were custom built to support both client comfort and stylist efficiency. Thoughtful spacing, integrated storage, and ergonomic layouts allow services to flow smoothly throughout the shop.
- Integrated Ventilation & Climate Control: HVAC and airflow systems were designed to maintain consistent temperature and air quality across the space. This ensures client comfort while supporting the daily use of hair care and styling equipment.
- Professional Lighting Design: Task and ambient lighting were carefully installed to provide clear visibility for hair treatments, coloring, and styling while preserving a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Subtle Accent Lighting Integration: Integrated accent lighting highlights mirrors, cabinetry, and feature walls, adding depth and a modern feel without overwhelming the space.
- Moisture Resistant & Easy Maintenance Surfaces: All surfaces were selected to resist moisture, heat, and product exposure, helping maintain sanitation standards and extend the life of finishes.
